Classroom session is from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Range Qualification from 3 PM to 5 PM
Students will need to bring eye & ear protection, semi-auto or revolver of .32 caliber or larger (rental available-see bottom of this page), and minimum 50 rounds (bring more in case of malfunction or reshoot) of ammo. Please see DPS requirement here. Please note, factory ammo only. Range does not allow reloads or steel core ammo.
Two: 4-hour Personal Coaching Session with Firearms Instructor Ben
A personal/small group (2-3 people) coaching session with Ben on becoming a Better Shooter. Students will be able to experience vast improvement by shooting multiple targets on the move under pressure. After successful completion of the LTC class, students are eligible to attend the “4-hour Coaching Session” by attending a practice pistol match. All sessions take place on 4th Sunday of each month. Ben will help each student with focus on how to improve one’s skill level. Students will have to pay a $12 range fee.
Students will need to bring eye, ear protection, semi-auto or revolver of 38 Special/9mm or larger caliber, 3 magazines/speed loaders, strong-side OWB holster, two mag pouches and 150-rds of ammo.
Before you register for the LTC class, please go to Question 21-25 at DPS website to see if you are eligible to apply for a LTC.

Please pay for the course below or email us with your voucher #/Barcode, your name (first, middle initial and last), phone #, email address, birthday, street address, driver’s license # and which state issued the license, gun model, ammo, shooting experience and a copy of your ID that qualifies for a discount.
Pistol Rental and Ammo Purchase Information for the LTC Class
You can rent a pistol from us for $10 and purchase 50-round 9mm ammo for $25 (all other calibers will be $30) for the LTC Qualification Test.
. Due to limited rentals and ammo available, you MUST let us know if you wish to rent a pistol or purchase ammo when you schedule your class.
Private Texas License to Carry Prep Class
